PORCELAIN RESTORATIONS

(Veneers, Crowns and Bridges)

Here at Stony Point, NY, Roy Park DDS dental clinic offers Porcelain Restoration. Porcelain Restoration is the process of restoring the function of your teeth and enhancing its cosmetic appeal.

Porcelain Restorations include the following:
Porcelain Crowns:
The porcelain crown, also known as the porcelain cap, encases the tooth’s surface entirely, restoring it to its original size and shape.
The role of the porcelain cap is to strengthen and protect the structure of the tooth that is impossible to be restored through any type of dental restorations.
Porcelain Bridges:
In order to replace a missing tooth/teeth, a porcelain bridge that is a non-removable dental appliance is being fixed on the gap/s. Porcelain Bridges consist of two crowns that go over the teeth, adjacent to the gap–this is called abutment teeth. An artificial tooth, known as pontic, is being fixed between dental crowns. After the procedure, the replacement tooth will look and function like a natural tooth.
Porcelain Veneers:
A veneer is a thin layer material, shell-shaped and custom-made, fixed over a tooth. The purpose of this procedure is to improve the aesthetics of a tooth and protect it from any damage found on the surface.
